Zaragoza facing bankruptcy 19.10.2014

One of the teams with great traditions in Spain - Real Zaragoza, is facing bankruptcy. This admitted the club president Christian Lapetra.

"The probability Zaragoza to disappear is very real," said Lapetra at a news conference.

The Aragon club received a message from the Ministry of Finance of Spain with a request for urgent repayment of 25.7 million debt, said newspaper AS.

The new owners of the club earlier expressed confidence that they can deal with their debts, but do not expect that this should happen so soon.

The only option to Zaragoza is to reach an agreement with the government of deferred payment obligations
