Sven-Goran Eriksson took over Shanghai 19.11.2014

The former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson was introduced as coach of the rich Chinese club Shanghai East Asia, as his contract ranks him among the most expensive paid football professionals.

The Swede was presented by the club. According to Chinese media the Swede will keep six million dollars in Shanghai.

"I am very happy that it finally became official and I'm the coach of this club. I can not wait to start working and to acept this new challenge," said Eriksson.

His salary of six million dollars will ranks him among the 20 best-paid managers in the world. He will be in front of Laurent Blanc, who received $ 5.2 million for the 2013-1014 season at PSG.
