The new coach of Serbia Radovan Curcic will do everything possible to return to the team the defender Nemanja Vidic.

The former captain of Manchester United dropped from the national team after the failed qualification campaign for Euro 2012. Currently plays for Inter Milan.

"Vidic is among the best defenders in Europe. Naturally, it would be nice if he returns to the national team. We have months until our next game in the coming weeks will hold talks with him, as well as some other players to figure out what are their plans, "said Curcic at a press conference in Belgrade.

Radovan Curcic was appointed today as a coach of Serbia. 42-year-old was a mentor to young people up to 21 years which qualify for the finals of the European Championships in this age next year.

Curcic succeeds the Dutchman Dick Advocaat, who resigned after the defeat household with 1: 3 from Denmark in November in qualifying for Euro 2016. Serbia has one point from three matches and must do a carefully string of wins to reach somehow to the European finals.
