Figo has some radical proposals: World Cup with 40 or 48 participating teams

One of the candidates for the position of President of FIFA, Figo made radical proposals for the format of World Championships. This happened during the official presentation of his kandiduturata in London.
The Portuguese national came up with three options for the final stage of Mondialite. The first is the current formula with 32 teams remain unchanged.
The second is to qualify 40 teams, to be distributed in eight preliminary groups with 5 teams in each.
