Germany and Norway achieved spectacular wins in the World Cup for women

The European champion Germany started with a routing victory with a 10:0 against Ivory Coast participating in the World Championship for women in Canada. The three goals for success was made by Anja Mittag and Celia Sashich. The other hits for the Reds triumphed was done by Simone Loyder, Sarah Debric, Melanie Beringer and Alexandra Pop.
The victory with 10:0 is the second largest in the history of the World Championships. The record is held by Germany, which beat Argentina in 2007 with 11:0. In the other match of Group C, the European Vice Champions of Norway also began with categorical success. They had a 4:0 over Thailand. Isabell Herlovsen scored two goals, and one was added by Trine Roning and the another one by Ada Hegerberg.
