The boss of Samp: The offers for Eder and Soriano were inadequate

8.09.2015

The owner of Sampdoria, Massimo Ferrero, said that the attempt to sell Roberto Soriano and Eder in the summer were 'inadequate'.
Soriano was very close to play in Napoli, as the deal fell through at the last minute. Eder in turn struck in the plans of Inter, but the Nerazzurri and could not lead to a successful conclusion the negotiations.
'Soriano is our player and we are delighted that stuck.', said Ferrero. 'Napoli made the papers for Juan Suniga for 5 minutes, and it took us 25 minutes to prepare these for Soriano. Fortunately, I said not to be deposited, and now Suniga was going to be with us.'
'Soriano is not the player of Napoli, who currently plays for rent to us, we felt that they wanted to play us. They wanted Soriano, as well as other teams, but we're glad things have stayed the same. This is not a store for discounts, Sampdoria deserves respect.'
'As for Eder, I want to clarify something. He has a 5-year contract with us as he re-signed in March last year. Inter offered us millions, but Eder is just not for sale. Sometimes the money make me lose focus, but this was not the case.'
'I didn't sell Eder and Soriano, didn't want to sell them, since not offered me a sum that would cover their value. Prices were inadequate. My happiness and that of the boys is worth more than just money.', Ferrero concluded.
