The dream of Liverpool fans to see Steven Gerrard live at least once more can come true, although not in the way that they want. The former captain of the Merseysiders for the first time in his career may confront his home club.
This may happen in the summer of next year. Then his current club Los Angeles Galaxy will have a control meeting with Liverpool. It is still being negotiated, but it is expected to be included in the US tour of the 'reds'.
If it is a fact, then Gerrard can play a half for both teams, but is more likely to wear the t-shirt of Galaxy the whole time. Everything, however, is about to be clarified soon, as now both clubs are still in the initial phase of the negotiations.
'Definitely we are considering such a match, first we have to have an agreement. Steven is currently in Liverpool, of course, I'm going to inquire and to him for his opinion. His presence in the United States can only be a huge bonus for Liverpool as a club.', said the Executive Director of Liverpool, Ian Airey.
