The President of UEFA, Michel Platini, filed a complaint at the International Court of arbitration for sport in Lausanne against the decision of the Ethics Committee of the International Football Federation (FIFA) to remove it from football activity for 90 days. This was announced for TASS official representative of Platini.
'Michel Platini to formally lodge a complaint with the Court of arbitration for sport against the decision to be suspended from football activities. He wants the cancellation of the penalty, which entered into force on 8 October.', said a representative of the Frenchman.
Platini believes that FIFA deliberately delaying his case to not allow it until after the election for President of FIFA, which will take place on 26 February 2016.
The Frenchman was charged that he had received 2 million Swiss francs as a consultant to FIFA for the World Cup in 2002 and a year in South Africa, Blatter has translated them nine years later without a clear set of accounts.
