FIFA fired Valke 13.01.2016

FIFA fired Jerome Valke from the position of General Secretary of the world soccer organization, said a message on the official website of the organisation.
The decision was taken on 9 January and was with immediate effect. Markus Katner will be the new General Secretary of FIFA.
On 17 September 2015 Valke was temporarily suspended from football activities, because of the scandal of corruption in FIFA. The charges were for illegal schemes for the sale of tickets for the World Cup 2014.
