Liverpool has not given up on Gotze

15.01.2016

Liverpool hasn't given up on the chance to sign with Bayern star Mario Gotze. Today, the Sports Director of the Bavarians Matthias Sammer announced categorically that in January there will be a deal for him.
But according to the newspaper 'Daily mail', the Merseysiders are ready to pay 37 million pounds right away to get his signature. Such an offer would have to appeal to the Bavarians, as the attacker only has another 18 months of his contract.
Yet a similar shuttle does seem a bit off in January. It is expected that the player and the club to have conversations about his future at the end of February and beginning of March, after which it will be clear what will happen to him.
But if there is a shuttle, it will be summer, and until then, Josep Guardiola has the intention to use him. At the helm of Liverpool is Jurgen Klopp, under whose leadership the team of Borussia Dortmund and Gotze used to make great games and he established himself as a star.
