The management of Bayern Munich manifested a serious interest to the central defender of Villarreal, Mateo Musakio. The Argentinian got in the list of transfer targets for the summer personally at the insistence of the future coach Carlo Ancelotti, who took office after the end of the current season.
The 25-year-old footballer made his seventh season in the 'yellow submarine' and has long established himself as one of the strongest players of his position in La Liga. Musakio is an adolescent of Grand River Plate from his homeland, for whom he debuted still at the age of 16, but only a season later and won his first title in the Clausura.
The defender has long been the subject of attention from many European grandees, like Bayern Munich is willing to provide him to Ancelotti. The question is, however, that the Bavarians will need much more than 9 million.
