The right defender of Real Madrid has rejected a pretty solid offer from a Chinese team and decided to remain in the Spanish club. According to the newspaper 'Brand' the experienced footballer had interesting last days, in which he received quite a generous offer from Shanghai Shenhua.
The Asian club has already carried out a serious deal in January when it attracted the midfielder of Inter, Freddy Guarin. Apparently in Shanghai, they want to respond properly to the ambitious selections that have carried out some of the other grandees in the local Championship.
So an offer for a contract with Arbeloa followed, which however was extremely short. The former Liverpool player immediately rejected the proposal of the Chinese. Although his contract with Real Madrid to expire at the end of the season, he has stated that he wants to enjoy every moment with the team of 'Los merengues'.
The footballer makes his seventh season of Santiago Bernabeu, after the arrival of Zinedine Zidane at the helm of the team he does not get as many chances as before.
