Arsenal will not offer a new contract to Mertesacker 24.03.2016

The German Per Mertesacker will not sign a new contract with Arsenal, reports the Journal Times. In the summer, the defender is going into the final season of his contract with the English club, but the elite leadership of the Gunners will not keep the 31-year-old Mertesacker in North London.
The defender is likely to return to his homeland, where he was wearing the team consistently of Hanover 96 and Werder Bremen.
Per Mertesacker became world champion with Germany in 2014. In the period 2004-2014 the central defender has 104 matches and four goals with the German team.
