The penalty of Platini was reduced for the second time

9.05.2016

The sanction of the former President of UEFA Michel Platini was reduced for the second time and will last for four years.
This was decided by the arbitration for sport in Lausanne in the case.
Platini was initially punished with a suspension from all football-related activity for a period of 8 years.
In the ensuing remedy in December last year, the penalty was reduced to six years.
The reduced period of repeated punishment of the Frenchman was released by his lawyers.
Platini was charged because of a conflict of interest, as a result of the payment of the amount of 1.8 million euros by Sepp Blatter.
