Liverpool released Jose Enrique

9.05.2016

The management of Liverpool has informed the left guard Jose Enrique that his contract would not be renewed beyond the end of the season he would be free to seek a new team.
The media claims that the meeting between the bosses and Enrique consisted of the training base at Melwood.
The Spaniard arrived at Anfield in 2011, when the then manager Kenny Dalglish counts 5 million pounds for Newcastle. In his first two seasons was left holder Enrique hard defense, but then gradually lost their positions.
In the last three campaigns, he has just 20 appearances for the first team, and the series proved their injuries impact. Indicative of his fate was the fact that before the start of the campaign, the former mentor of Merseysiders, Brendan Rodgers didn't take it for the tour in Australia, and left him to train solo on the island along with the two other 'exiles' Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini.
In 2015/2016, Enrique has had exactly 3 matches and all of them are in the FA Cup as the manager Juergen Klopp prefers left Alberto Moreno, John Flanagan, the young Bradley Smith and even the right-back Nathaniel Klein.
During his stay in Liverpool, Jose Enrique played 99 matches, scored twice.
