Samuel Umtiti's the second new addition to Barcelona after the Catalans already announced that Suarez will return from Villarreal.
The French footballer will sign a five-year contract with the Catalans until 2021.
The players of Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais reached an agreement for the transfer of 22-year-old footballer. The Catalans will pay for him around 25 million euros. The transfer fee could reach 30 million euros as there are extra bonuses depending on the performance of the player.
The deal between FC Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais will happen as soon as Umtiti can go through medical research.
Umtiti is a part of the team of Didier Deschamps for the European Championship.
He debuted in the first team of Lyon at the age of 18. Umtiti is doing well, both in central defence and as a left-back.
In July last year, he renewed his contract with Lyon until the summer of 2019.
