Official: Newcastle sold Janmaat to Watford for 7 million pounds. 24.08.2016

Watford has attracted the Dutch defender Daryl Janmaat from Newcastle United, who will play for Londoners in the next four years, as is the term of the contract.
None of the two clubs clarifies the details in the contract, but the media claims that there will be a sum of 7 million pounds. Janmaat joined the Hornets with a transfer from Newcastle.
'The 27-year-old player has signed a contract with us for 4 years and will please the fans.', said in a statement the new club of the Dutchman. Last season he has had 32 appearances for Newcastle but was unable to stay in the Premiership. For the national team he has had 27 meetings.
