The Everton midfielder Gareth Barry beat the legend of Chelsea Frank Lampard in terms of a number of matches played in the English elite.
The team lost last night against city rival Liverpool with 0:1 at the Goodison Park with a goal of Sadio Mane at the last minute of extra time, but this match became special for the 35-year-old Barry, despite the defeat.
This was the game number 610 for the veteran in the Premier League, with which he overtook Lampard and ranked the second in the rankings.
To set an absolute record, Barry must play 23 matches and then we topped the former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs, who in his career has recorded 632 meetings in the elite and currently heads the list.
