The Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola admitted he apologized to the defender John Stones that left him on the bench for the derby with Arsenal (2:1).
The Spaniard relied on Nicolás Otamendi and Alexander Kolarov in the central defense as the reason for this is that the manager just wanted to use the same players in defense in two consecutive derbies for the Citizens.
