Moyes: 'I wanted Bale very much but at one point I thought he will join United.' 26.12.2016

The Sunderland manager David Moyes spoke about the difficult period in the team of Manchester United and has revealed that the largest transfer target in front of him was the Welsh international Gareth Bale.
'My first real goal was Gareth Bale. Even at one point, I thought he is already a player of Manchester United. I fought for his signature until the last minute. United's offer was even greater than the one of Real. Gareth, however, decided to go to Madrid.', commented Moyes.
