Kevin Gameiro will skip the beginning of the season 30.06.2017

The Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro will be missed by the coach Diego Simeone for the first matches of the new season in La Liga, according to the Spanish media. The French footballer will undergo surgery because of a sore groin and will be ready to play in about two months.
In recent months, the former Sevilla player was suffering from similar problems and the medical staff of the team and the player have decided to have an intervention. Many players avoided surgery and treated with physical therapy, but that approach does not guarantee complete recovery.
After about two weeks, Gameiro can begin some light physical exercises, and after about a month and a half, he will start training with the ball.
