Mertens will be able to play against Nice 30.08.2017

The Napoli striker Dries Mertens will be able to play in the rematch against Nice from the playoffs for an entry to the Champions League. The Belgian was questionable about the meeting after suffering a concussion during a match against Verona (3:1) of the 1st round in the Series. The coach Maurizio Sarri, however, stated that there will be no problem for him to play.
'I talked to the doctors, so I don't think there is a problem. He had a stroke in one leg and his shoes had also caused some discomfort. Because of this, I sent him to train in the gym. It was more like my decision, not his. After I talked to the doctors and Mertens I think there will be no problem for him to play.', Sarri said.
