Toni Kroos: 'I had to join Real Madrid in order to receive recognition in Germany!' 4.10.2017

Toni Kroos considered his decision in 2014 to leave Bayern (Munich) in the direction of Real Madrid right. The Bavarians were forced to sell the midfielder for 30 million euros because he refused to renew his contract.
'In terms of time, it was the right time to go abroad to a top club.', said Kroos, in front of the official website of the German Football Association.
He is convinced that his decision has contributed to his development as a footballer.
'Before I left Bayern, I was considered as one of the best football players. Maybe even one of the very finest. But then I started playing at Real Madrid attracting more attention to myself and so I received recognition and in Germany.', added Kroos.
