Serena - Staged on December 30 in Abu Dhabi 25.12.2017

Former world ranking leader Serena Williams (USA) starts against champion Roland Garros Aylon Ostaphoto at the Abu Dhabi demonstration tournament at the end of next week.

The two will meet on December 30th and will be the first women to participate in the tenth edition of the tournament, which has so far been just for men and has traditionally been the beginning of the men`s tennis season.






36-year-old Serena Williams has not played since the end of January last year when she won her 23rd Grand Slam title in Australia, and then temporarily withdrew to give birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia.

`I`m excited and I`m honored to return the court and be the first woman to play at this tournament, ` Williams told the Championship site.
