Redknapp wants Beckham against Manchester United 7.01.2011

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is hoping the short-term lease of the former English international David Beckham to be formalized by the end of the week. This will allow for LA Galaxy player to debut for the Londoners against his former club Manchester United next Sunday.

Redknapp expects Beckham to be in the stands at White Hart Lane in the match with Charlton in the third round of the FA Cup. But seven days later to play his first match as a Tottenham player.

It is anticipated that Beckham will take part in 10 meetings for two months. Then midfielder is obliged to return to the U.S.. On 15 March his Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS season starts against Seattle.
