Spurs leave White Hart Lane25.01.2011 |
The owner of the Spurs - Daniel Levy, said the club will leave White Hart Lane, even if they won the rights to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
Levy admitted that Spurs need to find a new home if the club wants to develop and protests of the minority of fans will not change his opinion.
"I think the problem in this situation is that we have available at White Hart Lane.'ll Reassess things and will obviously have to look elsewhere."
"I believe we will have no problem to sell 60,000 seats in Stratford. As for the fans, I must say that this very, very small group of people can not change my desire. Even if you do not build more Coliseum, they will still want us to stop here. There will always be competition between clubs in London. All are from the English capital. So wherever you find one of us, there will always be competition, "said Levy.
