End! Liverpool bought Suarez 28.01.2011

One of the hottest transfer sagas of recent months has finally ended. Liverpool reached formal agreement on the rights of Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez of Ajax.

Official Dutch club has accepted the offer of Liverpool and they will buy the player. It is worth 22.5 million pounds, reported the official website of Liverpool. Suarez is expected tomorrow to pass medical examinations and sign the official contract with the club.

This transfer is good news for manager Kenny Dalglish, but asks what will happen to Fernando Torres, which some speculate was asked today to go to Chelsea.

Suarez became the most expensive signing in the history of the "red" team. So far, it was Spaniard Fernando Torres, whom Liverpool counts about 20 million pounds in 2007.
