Loeb wins Rally Mexico

Seven-time world champion Sebastien Loeb (France) Citroen with DS3 won Rally Mexico - the second round of World Rally Championship (WRC). Loeb finished in first place with a time of 3 hours, 53 minutes and 17.0 seconds, followed by Mikko Hirvonen (Finland) Ford Fiesta - in 1:38.4 minutes, Jari-Matti Latvala (Finland) Ford Fiesta - at 2:23 , 9 minutes, and others.

This is the first victory for Sebastien Loeb in 2011 after a disappointing sixth place in the Rally of Sweden and the first win with the new Citroen car DS3. Frenchman Loeb is five-time winner in the Rally of Mexico - in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.

Loeb's victory facilitate Sunday morning after his teammate and temporary leader Sebastien Ogier took off the track and busted.

After the Rally of Mexico lead the ranking is Mikko Hirvonen by 46 points, followed by Sebastien Loeb - 37 points, Jari-Matti Latvala with 32 points, and others. The next third round of the WRC is 24 to 27 March in Portugal.
