Unique tandem leads journalists in charity match for George Ognyanov 7.03.2011

The team of journalists who will face a pooled national team of Bulgaria from the 80's and 90's of XX century, on 13 March in the capital Universiada Hall will be led by two notorious figures in the young Bulgarian basketball. Especially for the charity match, which is heavily in favor of injured five-time champion in judo George Ognyanov first shttrenyorski will make a tandem two former teammates - Manuel and Ludmil Markov Hadzhisotirov - Udo. They are popular in basketball circles as their regular "inclusions" in the media covering the game with the orange ball, and are keen to prepare for major surprises for the opposing team. It will, however, showing the names of legends like George Glushkov, Ivan Tsenov, Ivaylo Ravutsov, Eddie Valtchev, and Robert Gergov Andon Shamandurov.

The charity match is scheduled for Sunday, March 13 from 15.45 hours, it will be held before the match for third place in Cup of Bulgaria in men's basketball. As is already known in Sofia this week will host the Final Eight Tournament. The ticket price for two games on Sunday is 5 Euro.

For several months George is totally forgotten by the institutions, the only opportunity to be fully restored to undergo treatment in the spinal center abroad. Such a clinic in Bulgaria does not, and athlete and his family opted for a medical facility in the Czech Republic, where Ognyanov should stand at least 6 months. At present funds raised the athlete needed a further 50 000, to be guaranteed that period.
