Wozniacki in the final after a slight victory over Sharapova 19.03.2011

World number 1 worldwide in women Caroline Wozniacki reached the finals of the tournament in Indian Wells. Dane had a 6:1, 6:2 over former leader ranked Maria Sharapova.

In his typical style with astonishing ease Wozniacki absorb powerful blows of Sharapova at the same time almost made a mistake. Although defeated 6:1, 6:2 battle last 80 minutes and most Games Won were more or less equivalent

In the final Vozhnyachki will face Mario Bartoli, who beat Yanina Wickmayer with 6:1, 6:3. By getting their last game of the tournament Bartoli will return to the top 10 world rankings.
