Vettel: I made many mistakes, too risked 17.04.2011

Sebastian Vettel, who finished second in today's Chinese Grand Prix, admitted that he made several mistakes in the race.

The German added that very much is risked with the strategy with two pit stops.

"After the first pit stops had much more to stay on track. Probably too much risked the strategy of two pit stops. Later I was with old hard tires and saw that Hamilton approached the time. There was no sense to block and to defend too aggressively. I would totally destroy the tires and could jeopardize the second place, "said Vettel.
