Clijsters out of Roland Garros! 26.05.2011

The first big splash on France's Open Tennis is a fact. One of the big favorites, seeded second in the main draw Kim Clijsters is out of the race. She fell in incredibly dramatic fashion on 20-year-old Dutch Arantxa Rus.

She beat her rival to the famous 6:3, 5:7 and 1:6 after two hours of play. Clijsters, however, could greatly regret the missed victory was won after the first set with 6:3 and 5:2 led to in the second set.

It allowed a unique twist to 5:7, while in the third set was totally unrecognizable and gave law-and left the race.

Curiously, Arantxa Rus is currently in 114th position in the rankings of the WTA. So far, Netherlandic, a former No. 1 among the girls, would win over top 10 competitor.
