Despite financial difficulties, the basketball club Spartak (Pleven) will be closed. That said BTA president of the club Tsvetan Antov regarding comments appeared on the web. He explained that two years the club has experienced more serious financial problems. With the advent of the crisis in our funds from sponsors declined. However the club has no financial obligations to the companies, except to the carrier and the representative of professional athletes team. On basketball owe them in about four salaries, but that has accumulated over time. Antov was clear that it will continue to seek way out of this situation.

"We have June, July and August, to seek and hope to receive financial support," he said. According to him a burden to them the funds spent on maintenance of the municipal hall Balkanstroy for electricity, heating and cleaning - 50 000.

"I do not know any other club in the country to spend money for the hall, where he played," said Antov. He believes the community can support the club with more resources. Regarding comments that the club is private, Antov clarify that is registered as a non-profit and public policy.

"The club is private and not mine," he added.
