Isnar against Roddick in the semifinals in Winston-Salem 26.08.2011

1-seeded Andy Roddick qualified for the semifinals of the tennis tournament in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after beating Argentine Juan Monaco 6-1, 6-4.

The American won easily in just over an hour and the semifinals will meet compatriot John Isnar who beat Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus with 1:6, 6:3, 6:4.

The third scheme Alexander Dolgopolov, which remove Grigor Dimitrov in the previous round, ended its involvement after the loss of Robin Haase of the Netherlands with 4:6, 4:6. Haas in the semifinals will face Julien Benneteau of France, who beat Sergei Stahovski (Ukraine) with 3:6, 7:6 (11:9), 6-2.

The tournament is the final check before the August 29 U.S. Open Championship.
