There is hope for the season in the NBA 26.11.2011

NBA and Players Association have reached a preliminary agreement, which is about to terminate the five-month lockout season and probably will start on December 25. After 16-hour negotiations, the two sides shook hands.

Agreement has yet to be approved by a majority of the 29 owners of teams and 450 players. To be held negotiations on some smaller details. Among them is the policy of testing for banned substances. Training camp for free agents can begin on December 9. Under this agreement the regular season will start on Christmas and each team will play 66 games.

The first meeting of the season will be: New York Knicks - Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks - Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers - Chicago Bulls.
