Sir Alex: Wigan deserved their victory 2.07.2012

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that the team of Wigan deservingly won three points in a match the between two teams last night. Wigan led with the minimum 1:0 and thus return the intrigue in the Premier League title. The difference on the top in the ranking between United and City is now just five points.

"Wigan was the better team. They are very underrated team and in the first half we were totally outplayed. We lost every battle for the ball and had only one shot at goal" said Ferguson after the first loss of his team in January.
