Drogba: I have bad memories from the last match against Barca

2.07.2012

Chelsea attacker Didier Drogba expressed his ambition to beat Barcelona. Both teams will face in the semifinals of the Champions League. The Footballer of Londoners desperately hopes to finish his career at the club with a bang and he goes through winning the tournament.

After the last time both teams stood up against one another, Didier Drogba was punished by UEFA for protests of the player to the referee. In 2009, after the second leg of the Champions League semifinals, he lashed out against Norwegian referee Tom Henning Yovrebyo who didn't judge few clear penalties in their favor.

"Many things have changed since we played against Barcelona, but our desire to win is strong as ever. I signed for Chelsea to play in such matches. These are the fights that are very, very excited" said the attacker.

"We have many memories of our last meeting with Barcelona - both good and bad. Our chances are 50-50, but we are ready for this meeting. We expect to win something every season. So I'm in Chelsea" Drogba said.
