Partizan head coach Avram Grant expressed the opinion that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich should keep Roberto Di Matteo to the manager post. Ancelotti, who took the post after the removal of Andre Villa-Boash, will probably be replaced by another coach after the season.
Yesterday Chelsea qualified for the Champions League final after eliminate Barcelona. The fate of Di Matteo is very similar to that of Avram Grant, who was fired from Roman Abramovich after the Champions League final in 2008.
Partizan coach believes that with the success this season, Di Matteo deserves to stay at Chelsea.
"Roberto deserves another year because he did a good job with the team. To get to the finals with this team is unbelievable. Abramovich sometimes think differently" said Avram Grant.
"In my day we got finals and played great football, and he decided I could not continue. He dismissed many managers" said Grant, according to who the football and the players are now at a lower level.
