No handshake for Terry and Ferdinand

No handshake for Terry and Ferdinand

3.07.2012

The management of the Premier League forbid to the players from Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers to shake hands with each other before the match on Sunday. The strange decision came because of the lawsuits, which are between the two teams defenders John Terry and Anton Ferdinand.

As is known the captain of Chelsea was accused of racism, and Ferdinand's lawyers have advised his client to refuse to shake hands with Terry

This is the first time that Ferdinand and Terry will meet in the Premier League after the incident between both in October last year.

There was a similar incident later in the season when Liverpool's Luis Suarez refused to shake the hands of Manchester United defender Patrice Evra. The Uruguayan was suspended for eight games because of racism.
