Valencia is close to ranking in the Champions League after defeating Osasuna with categorical 4:0 as hosts in a postponed match of 20th round of La Liga. Thus "The bats" are about to ensure direct ranking in the groups of the most commercial football tournament.

In the first half both teams played equally, and the dangerous situations were missing. Valencia's players played cautiously and didn't risk being thrown into the attacks.

After the final whistle for the first half Lekich of Osasuna hit the defender Adil Rami of Valencia and was sent off with straight red card by referee Gonzalo Gonzalez.

This prompted Osasuna players in the second half to play more retracted in defense.

The fortress of Osasuna fell in the 76th minute when Jordi Alba centered in the penalty area of the guests where Aduris with head was accurate for 1:0.

Valencia doubled their lead in the 83rd minute when after multipass combination the ball came to Jonas who overcame Andres Fernandez for 2:0.

Four minutes later Alba found again Aduris and he scored his second goal in the match, making the score 3:0.

The final 4:0 was formed in the 88th minute of Jonas, who also celebrated his second goal in the match.

Valencia takes third place with 58 points, while Osasuna stayed ninth with 48 points.
