Anorthosis released Tomasic? 4.07.2012

The management of the Cyprus first division Anorthosis wants to cancel the contract of the former Bulgarian national Igor Tomasic, reported the local press.

35-year-old Tomasic, who played 13 games last season, has a contract with the club from Famagusta till next summer.

Born in Croatia center-back is ready to leave, but he insists on penalty of € 105,000, while Anorthosis are willing to pay him with 25,000 euros less.

If both sides reach agreement, Tomasic will remain a player of the club for another year, although he is not included in the plans of coach leadership.
