Chiki is fired 6.07.2012

The coach of Paraguay's national team Francisco "Chiki" Arce was fired for poor performance.

He started desperately the World Cup qualifiers in the South America. The team is in eighth place of nine teams after six rounds played in the qualifications for 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

"This is one of the most difficult decisions. It was discussed very long. We did not want to reacht to this, but it is a fact, "said Juan Angel Napout, president of the Paraguayan Football Federation.

Napout added that the replacement of 41-year-old Arce will be announced in the next few days.
