BBC: Arsenal announced the transfer of Giroux this week 6.07.2012

Arsenal is extremely close to attracting the forward of Montpellier and the French national team Olivier Giroux. According to BBC Sport the Londoners will announce the transfer of the 25-year-old footballer finalized by the end of the week.

The manager of "Arsenal" Arsene Wenger intends to rely on Giroux, together with Lukas Podolski and Robin Van Persie as the main offensive threesome.

Giroux remained on the bench during the 1:1 draw against England. He has 21 goals for his club last season and won the League Montpellier 1.
