Bilic jumped on Howard Webb: He whistled for Italy, he didn't give us clear penalty kick

6.07.2012

The coach of Croatia Slaven Bilic has accused the judge Howard Webb that did not play clear penalty for his team in a 1:1 draw against Italy in yesterday's meeting between the two teams from Group C of Euro 2012.

"Many coaches do not want to talk about judges, but I disagree with this approach. Could I be not objective, but there were clear penalty against Nikica Jelavic, and there were no violation of free impact in which Andrea Pirlo scored" said Bilic.

"I'm not trying to provoke controversy, but the referee whistled for Italy," said Slaven Bilic.

Howard Webb is used to tolerate criticism of his judiciary, in his native England he is often been accused of not playing properly and that he supports Manchester United.
