FIFA accepted the technology to track the ball

Technology to track the movement of the ball around the goal lines of the doors was formally accepted by the Special Board for changing the rules of FIFA. It will enter into service in World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

The President of the service center Sepp Blatter was a member of the committee that evaluated the current tests. They proved that "Hawk Eye" and "GolRef" handle successfully in cases where the the ball pass goal line of the door with all his capacity.

One of the two systems will be used in the Premiership next season. "Hawk-Eye" is a British system used in tennis and cricket, and "GolRef" is a Danish-German, which relies on sensors in the ball.
