Santos is negotiating with Florent Malouda 13.07.2012

From Brazilian giants Santos acknowledged that have led "informal discussions"  about the possible involvement of the Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda.

The French international scored 45 goals in 229 appearances for Chelsea after joining in 2007 from Lyon. He has another year on his contract, but the attraction of Eden Azhar and Marko Marin increased competition for a place in the lineup because of what "blue" are willing to sell him this summer.

Malouda is strongly linked with a move to Brazil as the first was considered the favorite Vasco da Gama. Local rival Santos, however, is clearly ahead as vice president of the club Olidio Rodriguez admitted for the negotiations.

According to speculation in Brazil, Malouda had met in the president of Santos Luis Alvaro Ribeiro at dinner.
