The tenth edition of "football match against poverty" featuring Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and other stars will take place on December 19 in Porto Alegre / Brazil /, announced today PNUD / programs of the United Nations Development Programme / Geneva.

Ronaldo and Zidane are ambassadors of the program and will be captains of the two teams that will play against each other at the stadium in Porto Alegre.

"Fighting poverty is not a game," said Ronaldo, who 10 years ago with Zidane and the United Nations Program for Development organized the first match against poverty in Basel / Switzerland /.

Zinedine Zidane, who for the first time will play in Brazil, said: "I am happy to play against my old friend in Porto Alegre."

Former Italian referee Pierluigi Collina will be arbitrator of the game.
