Marcelo will be operated in Netherlands 17.10.2012

The Brazilian player of Real Madrid Marcelo will travel to Amsterdam, where he will undergo surgery on his feet.

The left defender of Real Madrid received fracture of the foot and will be missing from playing until the end of the year. Marcelo received an injury while training for the national team of Brazil Cup in the Polish city of Wroclaw before tomorrow's friendly against Japan. After some research it became clear that the footballer has broken the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot.

The 24 years old will undergo surgery on Friday with Dr. Niyk Van Dyke, who was operating Ruud van Nistelrooy, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie.

The coach of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho will not be able to use other left-back Fabio Koentrao in the team next month.
