UEFA punished for one game Alexander Frei 24.10.2012

UEFA punished Basel striker - Alexander Frei with suspension of the playing rights for one game in the Europa League for violating anti-doping rules.

From UEFA announced that Frei had arrived too late to doping control after Basel match with Sporting Lisbon on 20th September from Europa League.

According to the rules a player must report for doping control at the latest 60 minutes after being notified.

Frei will miss the meeting of the Swiss champion with the Hungarian Videoton in Budapest on Thursday.
