Chelsea wants from Atletico 1 million for new rental of Courtois 31.05.2013

Chelsea management is reluctant to extend the rental of Thibaut Courtois in Atletico Madrid with another 12 months if the Spaniards pay 1 million pounds.

If to a deal is reached, it will be the third consecutive year in which the Belgian goalkeeper will play on loan to "Vicente Calderon". In his previous two seasons, the 21 year-old former Everton player helped to "Atletico" to win three titles - Europa League, European Super Cup and recently the Copa del Rey. The second of these trophies did come with a landslide victory 4:1 just over Chelsea, then led from Roberto Di Matteo.

Immediately after the triumph at "Bernabeu" Courtois hastened to say that he wants to extend his stay in the Spanish capital as he doesn't want to be the reserve of Petr Cech with "Blues".
